Custom Made Small Rustic A Frame Dessert Stand. Use for Cupcakes, Donuts, Candy, Petit Fours, Cookies, Mini Pies, Whatever!

One of my regular customers sent me a photo and asked if I could make this for her. She gave me some basic measurements, and said she wanted it "rustic". I made it out of #1 clear rough sawn pine lumber purchased from a local sawmill that I have used before. It's perfect for this project and I try to leave all the saw marks I can. I can get the boards in different grades with more knots if you prefer.

Here are the details.

The small stand has shelves that are 21, 17, and 13" long x 3/4" thick and about 7.5" wide.
These also have one side that is rough sawn for the rustic look, the other side is planed smooth. You can flip them depending on the look you want. The upright A frames are about 16" tall when spread out and leaves a little over 4" of space between the bottom and middle shelf and the middle and top shelf. There is a 1/4" diameter sisal rope strung between the a frame legs to keep them from opening up.

Capacity of the small stand - approximately 54 (3") diameter cupcakes (21"=22, 17"=18, and 14 on the 13" top shelf.)

Finish - Minwax "Honey" stain, and a semi gloss polyurethane top coat. If you'd like a different color, just let me know.

***The finish is purposely left rough. I have sanded everything lightly, but there may be a splinter here and there. ***

Ships unassembled in a 24x24x4 box weighing approximately 17 pounds.

They do fold up easily for storage like the last photo.
