Clark newest and Coombs Moss Agate Sterling Silver and 10K Gold Filled Ring

Beautiful art deco sterling silver and gold filled ring set with moss agate. The Moss agate stone is a milky translucent white with a three dimensional starburst inclusion. The inclusion literally looks like moss growing inside the stone (hence the name). The Marquise shaped flat top stone is bezel set in sterling silver. On either side of the stone is a gold filled leaf decoration. The piece is marked "C&C" with the Cs in triangles. This is the hallmark of the Clark and Coombs Manufacturing Company of Rhode Island. They operated from 1862 to 1988.

Size: Ring is US size newest 6 3/4. The Moss agate stone is 7/8" long x 1/2" wide.

Condition: Excellent. There are no chips or cracks to the stone.
