- This graceful vintage Shiwan porcelain figurine of the legendary leader of the Chinese 8 Immortals Lu Dongbin 呂洞賓 is a perfect representation of the dignified Taoist master, scholar and poet. He is often identified newest by his evil-subduing sword and Taoist flying brush.
- In Chinese mythology, the Eight Immortals 八仙 are a group of legendary Taoist immortal heroes who fight for justice and vanquish evil. They are considered signs of prosperity and longevity and are popular themes in Chinese art. Their peak prominence was during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
- MARKED with "CHINA" and numbered
- Shiwan 石灣 pottery are commonly known as mudware, mudmen, mudman, mud figures, etc. Shiwan potters are known for their sculpture and glazing techniques.
- Production of Shiwan pottery has existed since Neolithic times and became popular during the late Ming Dynasty and continues today in Shiwan and Wanjiang in the Guangdong province in China.

CONDITION
- Very GOOD: No chips, Minimal wear throughout
- There is a crack on the back and underside of the hat (see pics)
- There is slight wear on the bottom of one of the shoes (see pic)
