My name is 'Pavana' the Peacock Fairy. But I'm not only a fairy, but also a special, handmade, unique and individual rag doll!

Did you know 'Pavana' means 'peacock' in Sanskrit?!

My wings are part of my body and cannot be removed. After all, what's a fairy without her wings?! 

Pavana's wings are deliberately shaped the same as the magnificent tail display of peacocks and are made from upcycled costume fabrics, interfacing and have been hand painted with permanent non toxic fabric paints. To help keep their shape they also have a few strips of synthetic boning sewn into them.

The rest of Pavana, including her 2 skirts, are made from premium cotton fabrics, the sole exception being her skin fabric, which is top quality upholstery linen.
Her hair is made from a combination of natural and acrylic yarns and she is stuffed with organic wool.
