Hand painted house name or number sign with a painted frame. Retro flavoured and classic with a lovely solid feel, very well suited to modern and mid-century homes.
When I receive your text and choice of colour, I'll email you with a full size mock up for approval, so that you can see what your final sign will look like. All signs are cut and framed in my workshop, so if you have specific dimensions you need me to work to, please let me know. For guidance, the 'Six' sign is 25cm wide and 15cm high and the 'Hatley' sign is 45cm wide and 20cm high. The minimum size for the text is 2.5cm. The maximum width for this listing is 42cm, and maximum 30 characters to qualify for free postage but all signs are hand cut, framed and painted in my workshop so if you'd like a larger version, please contact me for a custom order.
These house name or number signs take between 2-3 weeks to produce, based on paint drying times. Every sign is primed, undercoated and has a minimum of two exterior top coats front and back, each of which taking 24-48 hours to dry fully, depending on atmospheric conditions. I'm afraid there is no newest rushing any stage of this process! The lettering is handpainted using traditional sable brushes and oil based signwriter's enamel.
Please let me know when you place your order whether you'd like any pre-drilled holes for fixing. These can either be countersunk and go right through for attaching to a wall, or be partially drilled from the back to be fixed for a gate or post.
