Product code: Newest Piper sylvaticum~ Silver leaf ~ Grower's Choice ~ 3"pot

Piper Sylvaticum is a tropical vining plant that is in the pepper family- (think black pepper not jalapeno) Like with all Pipers this plant will produce tiny crystal like secretions on the stems and backside of the leaves. These are a natural curiosity, and nothing to be alarmed about.
This climbing plant has elongated heart-shaped leaves with silver accents. In bright light the new growth will have a pink hue. This is a beautiful plant and is very tolerant of a range of conditions. It is best grown in moderate humidity and gentle bright light.

Photos are representational of what you will receive. I will pick the best available at the time of your purchase. Currently growing in a 3” pot and climbing on a cedar stake. Will easily be transferred to a moss pole. Please note that the stake is attached to the pot with a tiny nail, please remove this before attempting to repot. I'll be happy to send a photo of the actual plant I will send you.

I package with great care to ensure that your plant will arrive unharmed. Keep in mind that plants are living organisms and will be somewhat stressed during and after the shipping process. Your plant will need an adjustment period. Do not repot your plant immediately. Place you plant in an appropriate location an leave it there for a few weeks, avoid moving it around while it is getting used to its new home. Please expect reasonable damage to your plant, this can include loss of leaves or blooms, breakage on stems or leaves, yellowing or spotting, bent or folded leaves.

I do not accept returns; all sales are final.

Hot weather: make sure your package does not sit in your hot mailbox or in direct sunlight for an extended period of time.

Cold weather: I have heat packs available if you are in an area that is experiencing cold temps.
