This Art Nouveau Sculpture would make a amazing addition to your sculpture collection. It is getting harder to find original rancoulet sculptures as collectors have been buying them up, the Artist Ernest Rancoulet was a French sculpture maker who lived from 1870-1915, he was known for his Neoclassical bronze figures and sculptures. Rancoulet participated in the Paris salon for several years, regularly exhibiting his elegant figurines and newest busts. Born in Bordeaux France in 1870, Rancoulet's life and career was prolific but short ending his career in 1915. This sculpture is of a boy wearing a coat with tails and holding a quill in his hand. Rancoulets signature is seen on the lower front of the sculpture, it is resting on a beautiful marble base. The details that went into the production work of this sculpture is amazing, any questions.
