This print is an original relief print made by engraving a Resin Grave block. Engraving is a type of relief printing created using various gravers to newest achieve the fine lines and details which cannot be achieved using traditional woodcut tools. This type of print historically is printed on end grain box wood. However, it is difficult to find any suitable end grain wood in the United States at this time. Resin Grave is a product developed for wood engravers to use in place of wood. These prints are created by hand and as a result, no two prints are exactly alike.

This is a limited edition of 10 prints all titled, signed and numbered.

My inspiration for this print is was a picture of some lovely Rough Fell Sheep on a farm in England. I loved the way their horns curl and their black and white coloring.

This print ships flat on foam core between two pieces of cardboard via INSURED USPS.
