Made to order, Handmade life size needle felted Robin sculpture, free standing or mounted on a log.

I use the dry needle felting technique to sculpt these birds, which requires stabbing the wool with a barbed needle until it felts and shaping the form over time. I use local Cumbrian sheep wool and to achieve most of the colours, hand dye it using natural plants - eco and sustainable. For these pieces I have used onion skins, coffee and more! The legs are made
from wire. *please note, your Robin will differ a bit from the photos as they are made to order - every one is unique and individual!

My work is as natural, eco friendly and zero waste as possible to be kind to the environment and all it's wonderful creatures. I use fully reused, recycled packaging to post your item to you.

Due to the natural dyes I use, the colour may alter over time. To look after your bird, I recommend keeping it out of direct sunlight (this may bleach the colours). To protect it from dust and moths, You might like to keep it under glass eg. A bell jar, and cedar wood nearby can prevent insects newest and moths.
These sculptures contain glass eyes and are not toys.
