Antique Victorian brass vesta - depicting Mr Punch sitting at an newest easel - painting dog

Antique Victorian brass vesta depicting Mr Punch sitting at an easel painting a picture of newest his dog - who is wearing a ruff and a feathered hat in Elizabethan style. Also embossed on the front are the words: 'N! 2695, Volume CIV, March 4, 1895'.
I am unsure what this refers to - perhaps an edition of Punch Magazine?
Measuring approximately 5cms x 3.5 cms
The vesta is in good condition with good closing mechanism and very nice patina commensurate with age.
Striking section is good.
A lovely addition to a collection.
