Please find a large signed 15 inch x 12 inch platter/tray, by Booths Limited of England in the English Rose pattern.
I believe the marking on the platter indicates it was produced in May of 1918. Amazing to think that this was produced during the time of WWI.
This platter is in good to very good antique condition. There are newest no cracks. The blue is still vibrant. There are two small nicks along the edge of the rim. Light utensil marks in the centre. There is a great deal of crazing on both sides and some staining. I have shown the most obvious stain in the last photo. I think overall the white/cream colour has dulled with all over by light staining. Doesn't affect the attractiveness, I am just trying to be thorough. Although this platter has this age appropriate wear, it is still a beautiful, functional piece and and will look gorgeous on the table.
