Resting Snail - OOAK Biosphere Stainless Steel Pendant - Clear glass dome with a newest delicate handmade Snail on a handsculpted leaf inside

This pendant reflects all the beauty of a rainy day with its muted colours and the beautifully crafted little snail on its shiny leaf.

I've termed these little glass globes biospheres, as each of them hosts a little environment, which in this case is a tiny snail resting on a leaf. The materials are Fimo, painted with various paints and sealed with varnish. It sits on a base of black sand. I added a sturdy glass cap so you can wear this little critter around as you go about your day. Although this is obviously sturdier than if it was without protection, it is still fairly delicate, so there is a possibility of parts to break, if it gets dropped or shaken too much. So please be gentle with it.
Each of my biospheres is one of a kind; With the purchase of this you are buying an original; handcrafted with lots of love.
Included is a newest stainless steel chain in a length you can determine yourself. You can just include your preference at the checkout. I personally wear mine at 47cm/18” which hits me just below the collarbone which restrains the movement enough so that the pendant won't hit anything when swinging. Though you might have to take it off when people want to admire your pendant.

Snails might be neither the cutest nor the most beautiful animals, but I find them to be very interesting to sculpt. Their translucent skin and the pattern on their little house have a very underestimated beauty to them. Not to mention the way they hide and become seen again. I could watch that for hours.

This little pendant comes in my signature packaging which is handmade as well. I designed it to complement the piece while still providing optimal support throughout its travels.
