Beautiful, handmade, kittless fountain pen made of almond wood and silver anodized aluminium in a straight or rounded shape. The design of the pen is very smooth and clean. We also tried to make the pen very lightweight.

All Kayu pens are equipped with magnetic opening/closing for smooth user experience. Each Kayu is provided with a serial number and a certificate of authenticity. Thanks to the hand-manufacturing process every pen is original, slightly different from the others.

You can also customize the nib choosing from two finishes (polished steel/goldplated steel) and three nib thicknesses (Fine 0.5 mm, Medium 0.6 mm, Broad 0.7 mm) and also a ballpoint version. The pen is provided with converter filling mechanism which may be dismounted if you choose to use ink cartridges (compatible with international sized cartridges).

Each package also includes one free hand-sewn felt sleeve with a cork tag.

Kayu pens are completely designed and made in our workshop in Czech Republic, made of hard-waxed solid wood, anodized aluminium and brass threading. The wood is recycled, we refuse to support international business with exotic and often endangered wood species. We also never use kits or prefabricated parts for penmaking, the only non-handmade parts are nib, magnets and optionally the converter.
