A small landscape quilt with beautiful fall colors fabrics is the perfect piece of art to hang in the entrance to your home or above the desk in your office. This also makes a unique gift for mother's day or a special birthday.
I like the idea of mounting quilts on canvas, especially small newest quilts. It gives the quilt more presence and a finished look. It's relatively small size - 12"x16"makes it versatile, it is large enough to stand alone above your desk, but it will work well with other pieces. I made it with strips of batiks and prints and in autumn colors, curve pieced to create an abstract landscape. The free motion quilting enhances the curves of the landscape and provides texture.
The finished quilt is attached a framed canvas and it has a hanging wire on the back and is ready to hang.
