The ring you will receive will be very similar to the one showed in the photos. Though I do my very best to make them 100% identical, due to the raw nature of the stone and the totally handcrafted working process, each piece will have its own differences and unique traits.


✦ PROCESSING TIME:
1-2 weeks for bare copper and silver plated rings
3-5 weeks for gold and rose gold plated rings

✦ HOW LONG DOES THE PLATING LAST?
While most commercially plated jewelry are made at 0.2/0.5 micron, our Gold and Rose gold plated rings are plated at the highest thickness of 10 micron while our Silver newest plated rings are plated at 20 microns. However, it's still a plating so it'll need extra care and some maintenance.
The duration of the plating is subjective as it depends on several factors including body chemistry, lifestyle, etc.



✦ WILL COPPER DISCOLOR MY SKIN?
Copper can react according to the body chemistry producing a greenish hue that can be easily washed away with soap and water.

It doesn't happen to everyone and for some wearers, this tends to stop happening after a week or two of use.

Anyway, this is not harmful at all and doesn't represent a defect in your product. Copper is a completely safe metal to wear everyday being it antifungal, antimicrobial and hypoallergenic in nature.

Silver, gold and rose gold plated jewelry don't generally leave green marks as they have a thick plating layer on top of the raw copper surface. They may start leaving marks as the plating wears off. Also note that each body is different and can react differently to the metals so we can't guarantee that they won't leave marks.


✦ DOES COPPER TARNISH THROUGH TIME?
Copper is a breathing metal and it tends to develop a darker brown patina over time.

I always seal my raw copper jewelry with a protective microcrystalline wax to slow down this oxidation process, but this protection will eventually wear off especially on the surface that is in direct contact with the skin. You can easily re-apply any clear metal lacquer, including clear nail polish, at home.

A copper polishing cloth is included with every raw copper jewelry order.
