✦What is Paracord? ✦
Paracord was used for military paratroopers as far back as World War II, where troops re-purposed the cord from their parachutes. Uses included securing rucksacks to transport vehicles, measuring distances, and fastening camouflage netting to structures.
In the last 1990s, NASA astronauts used paracord to make repairs to the Hubble Space Telescope.
Today it is wildly used by the general public too from everyday bracelets to practical items used for hunting, hiking, kayaking, fishing, dog walking, and the list goes on.

✦What is special about 550 Paracord? ✦
550 Paracord means that it has a 550lb tensile strength.
This is due to the 7 inner strands held together why the outer nylon sheath.
It is approximately 4mm in diameter.
It is mildew, rot, and mold resistant.

✦What can 550 Paracord be used for? ✦
1.Crafting: As you can see in our store, it can be used to make an assortment of items including keychains, bracelets, slings, bag hooks, pet leashes, even hammocks, chairs, and wall art.
2.Fashion: The colors are durable and the strength of the cord makes for a bracelet that will last for a while. Paracord bracelets have been fashionable for many preppers and outdoors persons, and even in the movies.
3.Emergencies / Survival: Paracord can be used to crease snares, secure items together, create shelters, or even replace broken boot laces. You can pull the inner strands out and join them together to create fishing lines and traps.

•We offer over 50 different colors in hand-dyed paracord.
•We use USA Manufactured Military Grade 550 Paracord in White as our base and then color the cord.
•As the colors are hand-dyed there are differences between batches, and even throughout the same batch.
•If you need a large quantity, please contact me first and I'll be certain to make it in one run.
•We have a listing available for color samples, should you wish to see the color before purchasing a product in the color of choice.

✦ Hand-dyed Paracord Care Instructions ✦
•Do not use bleach on the hand-dyed paracord.
•Remove before swimming or using hot tubs.
•You may wash gently by hand, but avoid scrubbing.
•You may use laundry powder or fabric softener on this cord. Just ensure to rinse thoroughly.
•Dry naturally (do not use a tumble dryer or laundry dryer).
•Excessive exposure to the sun will have a bleaching effect on the cord.

We only ship to a select few countries due to previous issues with tracking.
