Vintage 1940s Striped Plastic Heart Shaped newest Dress Clip

Amazing vintage 1940s lacquered striped plastic heart shaped dress clip. I love the carved detail at the bottom of the heart and the bold stripes of brown, yellow and orange! The back has a long silver metal clip with prongs. This piece did not pass the simichrome polish test for bakelite but that may be because it is lacquered. There is newest some wear and a few small chips in the plastic, please see photos for details. This clip is in good, wearable vintage condition.
