Antique Mexican Pottery Opaque newest Azteca Decor | Tlaquepaque 1940s

newest Beautiful and rare antique Mexican ceramic Aztec-style pot. Produced in Tlaquepaque, this style of decor is also referred to as opaque due to the flat appearance. This was likely a water jug, and would be missing a matching cup that fits over the top opening. Stamped “MEXICO” on base.

Very good antique condition with minor surface wear and one flea bite on the body shown in photos.

Measures approximately 9.5” tall and 8” in diameter.
