Rare 1940's Chesterfields newest Cigarette Box-Japan- Wooden Smokers Box

newest This is a beautiful Piece!! It is a Chesterfields Smokers Box. I believe it to be for Cigarettes not Cigars. I can only tell you that I bought it from a Estate that the gentleman was in WW2. The bottom of the box has thin light brown felt. The box itself measures 10 X 8 X 4 inches. The only damage to the wood is in the last picture. The pictures show you everything. Including the stick on the bottom which reads "CHESTERFIELDS SMOKERS ARTICLES - JAPAN".
