Vintage Rogers Bros 1847 silver plate handled chafing dish with wooden handle. This classic beauty is from the Heritage line. It has a handle on the body of the piece and the top of the lid in black colored wood. The piece is marked on the bottom. It is a body and lid. The edge is so classic with its raised details. It measures length of handle to edge 18.75". The diameter of the body from edge to edge is 12". The height with the lid on to the top handle is about 6.25". In as found patina.
