This delicate antique prayer book is absolutely the most exquisite I have ever come across! There is not an inch of it that isn't fabulous. The velvet inside cover, the brass framed edges, and the brass latch are all beautiful details. It is marked Miss Matilda S Fraquair, January 1, 1846. Miss Matilda had a treasure and I love that her friend wrote her name in it. Whomever decides to cherish this prayer book now, will be a lucky person.
